Spotlight: Kind Traveler

Meet Kind Traveler… enabler of more responsible, regenerative travel and the #SeeingGreen Solutionist of the Day for June 24.

Kind Traveler is a responsible travel platform that connects travelers with hotels, destinations and experiences committed to positive social and environmental impact. Founded by Jessica Blotter and Sean Krejci, Kind Traveler is on a mission “to empower a new generation of travelers into a financial force that betters the health and well-being of individuals, animals and the environment in communities around the world.” Kind Traveler’s platform -- deeply rooted in the belief that travel can be a force for good -- includes a portfolio of 350+ hotel, destination and charity partners in 25 countries.

Core to their approach is the Kind Hotels – a curated portfolio of hotel properties that shows travelers those that are helping to make local communities healthy and more resilient, championing environmental and wildlife preservation initiatives and/or helping to advance the wellbeing of our oceans, coastlines and open lands.

The company began with its signature Give + Get hotel booking platform, where travelers unlock exclusive hotel rates and perks by making a donation to a local charity. Through its Every Stay Gives Back program, Kind Traveler partners with lodging and destination organizations to ensure a portion of every guest’s stay funds local nonprofits, turning everyday travel into meaningful opportunities to give back. Building on the program’s success, Kind Traveler recently expanded this approach with the launch of Every Adventure Gives Back, a new initiative that supports ocean health, community wellbeing and conservation efforts with every adventure booked.

Kind Traveler also offers conscious neighborhood guides with every Kind Hotel as well as live impact dashboards to inform travelers of the positive impact of their stay and the donations raised so far while inspiring with additional ways to get involved.
