Spotlight: Electrify Expo
Meet Electrify Expo… North America’s largest EV festival and the “#SeeingGreen Solutionist of the Day” for August 22. (disclosure: I am affiliated w/ the Expo but would have featured either way)
Founded in 2020, the Electrify Expo has grown into the largest festival event series in North America designed to showcase the latest advancements in electric transportation. The Expo aims to educate and excite consumers about the future of electric transportation through its hands-on and experience-focused format. The event brings together a wide variety of electric vehicles (EVs), from cars and trucks to e-bikes, scooters, skateboards, motorcycles, campers and even electric watercraft. Manufacturers and tech companies use the Expo as a platform to unveil new models, offer test drives / rides, and engage with attendees in a hands-on way – all in a festival-like environment. In addition to vehicles, the Electrify Expo highlights the growing infrastructure needed to support widespread EV adoption, such as fast-charging networks, energy storage systems, and smart home solutions.
In 2024, more than 200,000 consumers are expected to take part in the Electrify Expo event series, with events in Orlando, Phoenix, Long Beach and Denver already completed. Remaining events include: San Francisco (Aug 24-25), Seattle (Sept 14-15), NYC (Oct 12-13) and Austin (Nov 9-10). Attendees get a chance to view and many of the latest models all in one setting, including from: BMW, Ford, Kia, Hyundai, Lexus, Lucid, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Rivian, Toyota, Volvo, Vinfast and more, as well as dozens of e-bike, scooter and other manufacturers.
