Jackson Family Wines is a family-owned wine company based in Sonoma County, California, known for its portfolio of high-quality wines from renowned regions worldwide. Debuting with Kendall-Jackson in 1982, the company has grown to include over 40 wineries across California, Oregon, France, Italy, Australia, Chile and South Africa. With a commitment to craftsmanship and terroir-driven winemaking, the company remains family-run and dedicated to responsible land stewardship, innovation and producing exceptional wines that reflect the character of their origins.
Sustainability is at the heart of Jackson Family Wines’ operations, with ambitious goals to reduce its environmental impact and promote regenerative agriculture. The company has a plan to cut carbon emissions in half by 2030 and become climate-positive by 2050 (without offsets). Its sustainability initiatives include solar energy adoption, water conservation and soil health improvement through cover crops and composting. Jackson Family Wines has installed more on-site solar than any other winery in the U.S. and aims to use renewables to power more than 50% of its annual winery operations’ electricity by 2025. The company’s light-weighted glass program includes using more than 50% recycled glass in their bottles, reducing the weight of the most widely used bottle molds and working with suppliers to decarbonize glass manufacturing. A co-founder of IWCA - International Wineries for Climate Action, Jackson Family Wines supports sustainable certifications such as Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW) and Napa Green.
Through these efforts, Jackson Family Wines enables consumers to enjoy premium wines while contributing to a more sustainable planet.
