Spotlight: Campworks

Meet Campworks… enabling the electrified off-road experience and the “#SeeingGreen Solutionist of the Day” for May 12.

Colorado-based Campworks is reimagining off-grid adventure with its fully electric, solar-powered micro-camper, the NS-1. On a mission to empower people to live intentionally, closer to nature and better equipped for the future, the NS-1 is built for outdoor enthusiasts to help people adventure further and to bring friends, family and strangers together. With its compact form, all-electric systems and emphasis on self-sufficiency, Campworks offers a compelling alternative to traditional campers and trailers — one that is intentionally designed for the EV age for those who want to tread lightly while exploring deeply.

The Campworks NS-1 combines robust solar power, advanced energy storage, and high-end components for seamless off-road, off-grid living. The NS-1 is 100% electric, with no propane or fumes – “just clean, self-sustaining energy.” Features include integrated 2400-watt solar input, smart energy management, induction cooking and an offgrid water system. The NS-1 is able to charge EVs as well as serve as a backup power source for home. Its build process emphasizes recyclable materials and low-waste practices. With no propane, no gas generators, and compatibility with electric vehicles, Campworks provides a cleaner, quieter camping experience — one that reflects the growing demand for sustainable travel without sacrificing capability.
