Meet Neem London… purveyor of clean living menswear and the #SeeingGreen Solutionist of the Day for June 13
Based in the UK, Neem London is a climate conscious menswear brand with a sharp focus on circularity, climate responsibility and elegant essentials. On a mission to “design and make stunning menswear from recycled materials,” the brand offers progressive ecological style in modern tailored shirts, knitwear, trousers, outerwear and more.
At Neem London, sustainability is core to the brand’s ethos -- working towards menswear “that leaves behind zero emissions, zero harm and zero waste.” Beginning with materials, Neem offers garments made from recycled cotton, using textiles that would otherwise go to waste and supporting circularity. The brand also uses regenerative cotton, sourcing from farms that use regenerative practices to restore and revitalize soil health, sequester carbon emissions and combat climate change. These practices include employing proprietary no-till/no-plough machinery and specialized cover crops that act as a blanket in the off-season.
Neem also has done extensive lifecycle assessments for its products, measuring the waste, energy, GHG emissions and water usage of its products. The brand then shows impact figures on every product page and partners with SimpliZero for carbon footprint offsetting.
With a belief that “waste is a design flaw, not an inevitability,” Neem London has launched a buyback program to support circularity in apparel. Through the offering, customers send back their used Neem clothes for a brand credit while Neem then recycles the fibers and creates new garments.
With a strong stance against fast fashion and a commitment to measurable environmental progress, Neem London is helping redefine what responsibility looks like in menswear — one climate-positive shirt at a time.
