Spotlight: Formula E

Meet Formula E… the “#SeeingGreen Solutionist of the Day” for September 10.

Formula E is an international electric car racing championship that was established in 2014. It features cutting-edge electric vehicles competing on street circuits in some of the world’s most iconic cities, such as New York, London, and Berlin. The organization was founded with a vision to promote electric mobility and push the boundaries of innovation in sustainable racing technology.

Formula E not only focuses on reducing its own environmental impact, having become the first sport to achieve net-zero carbon emissions since inception, but also serves as a platform to advance electric vehicle technology. The organization engages fans with tools like FanBoost, allowing them to support their favorite drivers while promoting sustainability messages. Formula E also promotes sustainability through its fan activations at events, such as the Allianz E-Village, an interactive area where fans can learn about electric vehicle technology, renewable energy, and other green innovations. The series frequently partners with sustainability-focused organizations and campaigns, encouraging fans to adopt environmentally friendly practices in their daily lives. Through social media, digital content, and on-site initiatives, Formula E creates a dialogue with its fans, making sustainability an integral part of the fan experience.
