Meet Sabai… eco-friendly furniture creator and the “#SeeingGreen Solutionist of the Day” for October 29.

Sabai is a U.S.-based furniture company “furnishing a greater future” by creating stylish, eco-friendly and affordable furniture for modern homes. Founded with a mission to make sustainable living more accessible, Sabai offers products including sofas, sectionals and ottomans that prioritize comfort, modularity and contemporary design.

Sabai is deeply committed to sustainability, with initiatives that emphasize eco-friendly materials, waste reduction, recommerce and transparency. Sabai furniture is made of recycled or locally sourced materials proven to be durable and eco-friendly, including recycled and FSC-certified wood as well as recycled and upcycled fabric options (even velvet made from recycled plastic bottles). Sabai designs its pieces for durability and repairability, such that key parts can be replaced to extend their lifespans. Through their Repair Don’t Replace program, Sabai enables their customers to buy replacement parts to repair or refresh their furniture. To reduce waste and encourage a circular cycle, the brand offers the Sabai Revive program, allowing consumers to sell their Sabai pieces back to the company and/or shop preloved Sabai items for less. Sabai’s sustainable packaging is plastic-free, and the company offsets its carbon footprint through reforestation projects. Through these efforts, Sabai aims to set a standard for sustainable furniture production and contribute positively to a greater future.
