Spotlight: Sapling Spirits

Meet Sapling Spirits | B Corp… purveyor of climate-positive spirits and the “#SeeingGreen Solutionist of the Day” for October 15.

Born out of a passion for high-quality spirits combined with love for the natural world, Sapling Spirits is a British distillery known for producing premium, handcrafted vodka and gin. The company prides itself on creating spirits with a focus on quality, sourcing locally grown ingredients, and using traditional distilling techniques. 

Sapling Spirits is deeply committed to sustainability, making it a core part of their business model. Each Sapling bottle not only has a carbon negative footprint, but the brand also works to help increase biodiversity, improve soil health and their local communities, and reduce glass waste. For every bottle of vodka or gin sold, the company plants a fully GPS-traceable tree, with thousands of trees already planted across the UK and beyond. Sapling partners with local organizations to plant native species, contributing to reforestation and biodiversity efforts. Previously addressing packaging through use of light-weight glass bottles, Sapling recently partnered with Virgin Atlantic to launch a new aluminum mini bottle.
